The Story You've Been Telling Yourself
There's a moment you know intimately. 9 p.m. The couch. The internal negotiation: "Just a handful. I've been good." When you understand this, the story you've been telling yourself starts to look very different. Your "failure" to stop after a reasonable portion isn't evidence of gluttony or weakness. They were trying to create a product you would keep eating—and then come back tomorrow to buy more.

Walking Out of the Courtroom
